In 1995
Donaghadee YFC opened dedicated to
Christian youth work. We feel encouraged
and blessed that the work of the centre
has both developed and expanded over the
last 10 years.
In the
last 12 months we have experienced all
the highs and lows common in youth work
but we remain encouraged by the number of
young people who attend.
Since
April 2004:
Outreach
week with ‘Numinous’: four
young people’s lives were
transformed and they are still growing in
their faith.
The Purity
Group is a girls only group and this year
five girls have committed to the
programme to learn about sexual purity,
inner beauty and God’s love for
them.
‘Kid
Zone’ (P4-P7) and OTT (secondary
school age) we have had real breakthrough
in the young peoples’ understanding
of God and have built up relationships
with parents.
All these
programmes will continue and develop in
2005/2006
Saturday

we celebrated our 10-year anniversary.
Centre young people past and present
joined us to celebrate the last 10 years
and look forward to the next 10! It was
an amazing night
Current
needs:
All our
programmes need volunteers. If you love
Jesus and have a heart for young people
come along! Natalie Dolding, one of our
full-time youth workers is having a baby
in August. We need to find maternity
replacement during the latter half of
2005.
Please
pray for the young people who come to the
centre.
We need to
secure more regular monthly giving to
sustain and develop all our work, please
prayerfully consider if you could support
our work.
God has
always supplied our needs and we believe
that He will yet again!
We know
that where God guides He provides.
