2004 witnessed the birth of our 3-year Vision and Strategy - a process which we believe God has used to revitalise, enthuse and focus our organisation. In keeping with this document, our focus throughout 2004 was upon consolidating existing ministries and extensively developing church relations and funding.

2005 presents us with many exciting challenges and opportunities. Our focus will be upon developing an appropriate base, piloting primary provision and developing finance and infrastructure. Plans are underway for extending our current premises at ‘The Net’, with work due to commence by the end of the year. Additional premises have been secured for creative-arts programmes and after-schools projects. An after-schools provision for P5 to P7s will be developed as part of the drop-in centre’s outreach. More time and effort will be invested in raising finance in order to fund The Net building project and the recruitment of a full-time youth worker in 2006.

All of these plans are made, we believe, in the will of God. They do however require people to put them into action. We are always on the look out for new volunteers, whether they are from Comber, the surrounding towns or even just down the road in Belfast.
